How to wear a Curvy Girl Dress : I was surprised with this dress. I really thought I would not like it enough (too clingy) to use on my fashion blog then after looking at the picture with is a great dress. The right length for my 5’10” frame and hugged in the right places. I think this one is a keeper. Great for into fall with a suede jacket and ridding boots. I am a size 18- I got xl needs to be worn with shape wear.
My 14 year old son took all these pictures, he did a great job. He took the pictures at the Philadelphia waterworks which is next to Boathouse row and behind the Philadelphia Art Museum. Yep, that is the art museum that Rocky ran up those famous steps. It is such a beautiful location. If you take a trip to Philly take a trip around the museum and you will be able to experience the City in the park.
The Dress is from Gwynnie Bee. The dress has a run pattern of chains. The blue teal color is great, I love the silhouette is a A-line dress, with a sash and a scoop back.
I know I talk about Gwynnie Bee all the time, as a lover of fashion and a plus size women, I hate to fill closet with clothes that I am only going to wear a few times, then on to the next thing I want. I fill my closets with basics I love and play with all the items, I get from Gwynnie Bee regular. Gwynnie Bee is a subscription based service. You pay a flat fee a month and they send you garments to wear and return, with an option to buy at a steep discount of retail. So you get to wear them and figure out if it is an item you want to keep. If not simple return unwashed they will take care of the cleaning, or keep it for a while and return the garment. The will Gwynnie Bee send you another. Gwynnie Bee specializes in sizes 10-28 plus being the main focus.

You look beautiful in the dress, and it looks super comfy! I love the shoes, too.
Thanks Barb it was fun, my son told me “I don’t mind taking pictures of you Mom” (which melted my heart) it is really nice. I always think pictures should be taken from a downward angle and not that he is 6’1″ he is always looking down at his mom.
You look AMAZING! I love the color on your and those shoes are fab. Great for the city 🙂
